DAVID KIRSCH’S NO-FAT HUMMUS RECIPE
1 ½ cups cooked or canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
¼ cup nonfat plain yogurt
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
¼ tsp. ground cumin
¼ tsp. ground cayenne
1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice.
In a food processor, combine all ingredients. Process until well blended. Use immediately, or refrigerate up to 3 hours.
